Senate Judiciary Hearing

On April 16, 1997, the full Senate Judiciary Committee held the first public hearing on Senate Joint Resolution 6, the proposed Crime Victims Constitutional Amendment. In addition to the sponsors, Senators Jon Kyl (R-AZ) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Senator Mike DeWine (R-OH) and Representative Deborah Pryce (R-OH) expressed strong support for the amendment. Public witnesses appearing in support of the amendment were:

- Marsha Kight, survivor of Oklahoma City bombing victim (Prepared Testimony)
